Job Description

West Meade Place is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for night shift work in a family-oriented senior care environment. This role offers the opportunity to provide direct patient care to geriatric patients while working within a collaborative team structure that emphasizes comprehensive nursing practice and continuous quality improvement.

Clinical Setting

West Meade Place is a senior care community located in Nashville, Tennessee. The facility fosters a team-oriented atmosphere with low patient ratios and emphasizes integrated nursing knowledge and skills in the care of geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain clinical competency through application of integrated nursing knowledge and skills, leadership, and communication
  • Utilize the nursing process in assessment, planning, and implementing patient care
  • Demonstrate organizational ability related to workflow and prioritizing patient care needs
  • Integrate current standards of practice and comply with local, state, and federal nursing regulations
  • Practice continuous quality improvement thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Provide compassionate, patient-centered care with strong communication and teamwork

Schedule

  • Night shift position
  • Weekend shift differential pay available

Compensation

  • LPN pay up to $38 per hour, including shift differential (based on years of experience and shift)
  • Sign-on bonus: $5,000 for full-time positions; $2,500 for part-time positions
  • Time and a half for overtime
  • Extra $2 per hour in lieu of paid leave plan

Required Qualifications

  • Active Tennessee LPN or RN nursing license
  • The facility hires Graduate Nurses (GNs) and Graduate Practical Nurses (GPNs)
