Licensed Practical Nurse Night Shift

Avantara Huron is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for night shift work in our long-term care facility. As an LPN, you will be the backbone of our clinical department, ensuring residents receive high-quality care aligned with their individual care plans. You will administer medications, conduct resident assessments, provide direct nursing care, serve as a team leader, and advocate for resident comfort and safety.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and nursing care as directed by individual resident care plans
• Conduct resident assessments
• Serve as a team leader on the clinical team
• Advocate for residents' needs and well-being
• Ensure residents receive care that meets Avantara Huron's standards
• Apply knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to maintain resident comfort and safety

Required Qualifications

• Unencumbered South Dakota Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior Licensed Practical Nurse experience
