Licensed Practical Nurse

Montefiore St. Luke's Cornwall is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for Four North in Newburgh, New York. In this role, you will provide patient care under the supervision and delegation of a Registered Nurse, supporting the nursing division's philosophy, mission, vision, and goals.

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for patient care as delegated and supervised by the RN
• Perform case finding, health teaching, and health counseling
• Provide supportive and restorative care under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse

Schedule

• Days vary
• 8:00 AM to 9:15 PM
• 13.25 hours per day

Compensation

• Hourly rate: $28.07 to $34.79
• Rate listed is the hiring rate but may be subject to change based on shift differential, experience, education, or other relevant factors

Required Qualifications

• Associate Degree from an accredited LPN program
• Licensed Practical Nurse license from New York State Board of Nursing
• BLS certification from American Heart Association
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English

Preferred Qualifications

• One to three years of acute care experience
• Basic dysrhythmia skills
• IV skills
