Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) - PRN Nights | Dallas Rehab

PAM Health is opening a brand-new rehabilitation hospital in Dallas this fall and is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join the team on a PRN basis working night shifts. This is an opportunity to be part of a new facility from its opening and help establish exceptional patient care standards from day one.

Clinical Setting

You will work in a rehabilitation hospital providing nursing care to patients across various age groups and populations.

Responsibilities

As an LPN/LVN, you will work under the direction of an RN and be responsible for:

• Providing appropriate nursing care to patients in an age and population-appropriate manner
• Gathering and reporting patient data
• Carrying out physician orders
• Performing therapeutic procedures
• Performing other related duties as assigned or requested

Schedule

• PRN (as-needed) nights position
• Flexible scheduling available

Required Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in Texas or compact licensure if applicable
• Current BLS certification (AHA approved, must be obtained within 90 days of employment if not current at hire)
• Current IV Certification within 90 days of employment, if required per state regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience
