Wyndhurst Health & Rehab Center, a top-rated long-term care and skilled nursing facility in Lynchburg, Virginia, is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses to join our clinical team. You will provide compassionate nursing care to seniors in a supportive, team-oriented environment with optimal staff-to-patient ratios.
Clinical Setting
Wyndhurst is a long-term care and skilled nursing facility dedicated to providing exceptional care and dignity to residents.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to ensure resident needs are met in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, center policies and procedures, and state, federal, and local guidelines
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion
- Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary teams
- Support residents' physical, emotional, and psychological well-being
- Assist with resident comfort
- Collect samples and monitor catheters
- Provide wound care
- Collect, track, maintain, and review patient medical history, charts, and physical condition, including heart rate, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration
- Keep resident patient information confidential and adhere to all policies, procedures, federal, state, and local requirements, and professional standards
- Help coach staff as necessary
Required Qualifications
- Current LPN license in Virginia
- CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous long-term care or skilled nursing facility experience
- Positive attitude, reliability, and strong clinical judgment

Schedule and Shifts
Full-time, part-time, and per diem positions are available. Shifts include 7:00 am-7:00 pm, 7:00 pm-7:00 am, and 3:00 pm-11:00 pm.
Compensation
- Hourly rate: $31.00 to $35.45 per hour, plus shift differentials as applicable
- Sign-on bonus: $10,000 for full-time positions and $5,000 for part-time positions (limited time)
