Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - West Georgia Primary Care Vernon Street

West Georgia Primary Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at the Vernon Street location. In this role, you will work under the direction of the physician, nurse supervisor, and practice manager to provide direct patient care in a primary care setting.

Responsibilities

• Recognize patient needs and symptoms in advance and provide care under physician direction
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist during treatments
• Coordinate diagnostic tests and follow-up care
• Record treatment information in medical records
• Assist with patient and family education
• Demonstrate competency and skills to serve patients of all ages

Required Qualifications

• Graduate from a practical or vocational nursing program
• Current and active Licensed Practical Nurse license in the State of Georgia
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross prior to hire date
