Sutton Park Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking full-time and part-time Licensed Practical Nurses to provide direct patient care in a nursing and rehabilitation setting. You will work under the supervision of a registered nurse or doctor, delivering compassionate care to patients recovering from illness or injury.

Clinical Setting

This is a CPT approved facility providing nursing and rehabilitation services.

Schedule

  • Full-time: 3-11 PM shift
  • Part-time: All shifts available

Responsibilities

  • Record patient medical history accurately
  • Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, and other vital signs
  • Observe patients under treatment to identify progress and medication side effects
  • Monitor patients' condition including fluid intake and output and compose patient charts
  • Assist patients with daily necessary activities such as eating and bathing
  • Administer injections, prescribed medications, enemas, and other basic medical care tasks
  • Clean and dress wounds
  • Collect samples for lab testing as assigned
  • Provide emotional and psychological support when needed
  • Communicate with patients' family or friends to provide advice, comfort, and release instructions

Required Qualifications

  • Active LPN license
  • Proven experience as an LPN or similar role
  • Successful completion of LPN license program
  • Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team
  • Familiarity with hospital health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures
  • Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
  • Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and data entry
  • Perfect physical condition and stamina
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle stress
