Licensed Practical Nurse | LPN

The Crossing at Kokomo, operated by Tutera Senior Living & Health Care, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to deliver efficient and effective nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting. In this role, you will ensure positive clinical outcomes and resident/family satisfaction while operating within the scope of practice defined by state Nurse Practice Act regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care and direction of nursing care during assigned shifts
• Make staff assignments and mentor nursing personnel
• Educate nursing staff on clinical practices and procedures
• Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals on resident care plans
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations and licensing requirements
• Achieve positive clinical outcomes and resident/family satisfaction

Required Qualifications

• Active and in good standing Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice
• Professional image in both appearance and behavior
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse in a long-term care, skilled nursing facility, assisted living, or memory care setting
