Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Skilled Nursing - Part Time Nights

Senior Lifestyle Corporation is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for part-time night shifts in our skilled nursing facility. This position provides direct licensed nursing services to residents in a senior care setting, with responsibilities spanning medication administration, resident assessments, care planning, and clinical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents in compliance with Federal and State regulations and Senior Lifestyle Corporation guidelines
• Conduct admission assessments and documentation for new residents
• Complete acute and long-term care plans or service plans
• Track clinical systems including wounds and infection control under director supervision
• Provide consultation regarding health-related concerns within the community
• Notify physicians and family members of changes in resident health status with proper documentation
• Respond quickly to emergencies
• Maintain communication with all departments and staff members
• Provide educational meetings for residents and staff
• Understand your role in the Safety and Disaster Plan
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and prospective resident information
• Complete discharges, assessments, and clinical documentation as needed

Required Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state where you will be practicing
• CPR certification
• One or more years of experience in senior care or a related field
• Acceptable proficiency in English to perform job duties, communicate with supervisors and colleagues, and respond to emergency situations
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and effectively
• High tolerance for working under pressure and handling critical situations in a calm and professional manner

Education and Licensing

• Training from an accredited licensed or vocational nursing program
