Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN - School Nurse

BAYADA is recruiting a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN or LVN) to provide private duty in-home nursing care to school-aged pediatric clients throughout the Charlotte Metro area for the 2026/2027 school year. This role offers the opportunity to work one-on-one with children in their home environment, delivering compassionate care while maintaining clinical autonomy and critical thinking.

Clinical Setting

You will work in clients' homes, providing skilled nursing care to pediatric patients from birth through age 18 with a variety of diagnoses. As part of BAYADA's Skilled Nursing Unit, you will be part of a larger care team with access to 24/7 clinical support.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to pediatric clients according to individualized care plans
• Perform clinical assessments and provide family education
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies
• Provide complex care including tracheostomy and ventilator management if you choose to work at the top of your scope
• Travel to assigned cases as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active and current LPN or LVN license
• Ability to travel to cases as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous home health care experience
• Experience working with children

Schedule and Employment

Full-time, part-time, per-diem, and on-call positions are available to fit your lifestyle.
