Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Margate Health and Rehabilitation is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join our growing team providing direct nursing care to residents in our long-term care facility. In this role, you will provide direct resident care, supervise day-to-day nursing activities performed by Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), pass medications, complete assessments and treatments, document services provided, and occasionally assist with activities of daily living. You will work in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations under the direction of the Director of Nursing Services or Nurse Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents
• Supervise and oversee day-to-day nursing activities performed by CNAs
• Pass medications to residents
• Complete nursing assessments and treatments
• Document the provision of nursing services
• Participate in activities of daily living care or assist CNAs as needed
• Ensure compliance with facility standards, guidelines, and regulations

Required Qualifications

• Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in North Carolina or a compact license that allows practice in North Carolina

Preferred Qualifications

• Long-term care experience
• Positive attitude and strong bedside manner
