Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN

Rumford Hospital, a 25-bed critical access hospital serving Maine's rural communities, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct and indirect patient care in the medical-surgical-telemetry (MST) setting. Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and in collaboration with the healthcare team, you will maintain patient safety, provide comfort and care, and contribute to an improved patient experience.

Rumford Hospital is part of Central Maine Healthcare (CMH), an integrated healthcare delivery system serving approximately 400,000 residents across central, western, and midcoast Maine through a network of more than 40 primary and specialty care locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care services within the scope of LPN practice
• Maintain patient safety and comfort in the MST setting
• Collaborate with the healthcare team under RN supervision
• Contribute to improving the overall patient experience

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license
• Current BLS certification at time of hire and maintained throughout employment
• IV certification and Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification required within 90 days of hire date

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior work experience in healthcare

• Full-time position
• Evening shift

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive compensation with a reasonable estimate of $27.00 to $30.75 per hour
