Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Rehabilitation

University Hospitals Avon Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a part-time, days position in our inpatient rehabilitation setting. In this role, you will provide hands-on, patient-centered care under RN supervision, supporting the recovery and stability of patients in our rehabilitation program.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate bedside care under RN supervision
• Administer medications accurately while following safety protocols
• Support assessments, reassessments, and care plan updates based on patient needs
• Use effective pain management, patient education, and rehabilitation interventions
• Promote patient safety through timely documentation and quality-focused care

Clinical Setting

University Hospitals Avon Rehabilitation Hospital is an inpatient rehabilitation facility accredited by The Joint Commission and CARF, serving the Avon community for over 10 years.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse program
• CPR/BLS certification
• Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
• Critical thinking skills and decisive judgment
• Ability to work with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• IV Certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
