Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Rehabilitation - FT Nights

Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital Fort Smith is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our 50-bed rehabilitation facility on the night shift. In this role, you will provide compassionate care to rehabilitation patients alongside a dedicated team of Registered Nurses. You will assess patient needs, administer treatments, and ensure patient comfort and safety while working in a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care.

Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital Fort Smith is a 50-bed rehabilitation hospital located in Fort Smith, Arkansas, and is part of Lifepoint Health, a diversified healthcare delivery network with acute care, rehabilitation, and behavioral health facilities across the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to rehabilitation patients
• Assess patient needs and implement plan-of-care interventions
• Administer treatments and medications as directed
• Ensure patient comfort and safety
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary nursing team
• Utilize clinical judgment and decision-making in a stressful environment
• Work with minimal supervision

Schedule

• Night shift
• PRN (as needed) employment type

Required Qualifications

• Active Arkansas LPN license or compact state LPN license
• If relocating, licensure must be updated to new Primary State of Residence before employment begins
• Associate's Degree
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
• Critical thinking skills and decisive judgment
• Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
• Ability to work with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of previous nursing experience
