Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) REGISTER NURSE (RN) WEEKENDS ONLY AM-PM

Alden Poplar Creek Rehabilitation and Healthcare is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) for weekend AM-PM shifts. This is a large, community-based facility providing long-term and sub-acute care to a diverse resident population including geriatrics, short-term rehabilitation, hospice, and memory care. Part-time and full-time positions are available, with flexible scheduling options to accommodate personal needs.

Clinical Setting

The facility operates a general population unit providing skilled and intermediate nursing care, as well as a dedicated memory care unit. You will work collaboratively with CNAs and Resident Attendants who provide ADL care, weights, vitals, and skin care monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Participate in clinical assessments and data gathering
• Manage medications and medication administration
• Conduct admission and discharge procedures
• Monitor resident behavior and status changes
• Collaborate with CNAs and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Contribute to the Quality Assurance Performance Improvement process
• Document care in the facility's electronic health record system

Schedule

• Weekends only
• AM-PM shifts
• Flexible scheduling available to accommodate school schedules (yours or your children's)

Required Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license
• Ability to lift, push, and pull 35 pounds and carry it 35 feet
• Fluent English (speak, read, and write)
• Successful healthcare worker background check
• Successful drug test
