Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - PRN Nights | Venice Rehab

PAM Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a PRN night position at Venice Rehab. In this role, you will provide appropriate nursing care under the direction of an RN on the nursing unit, working in a fast-paced environment. You will gather and report patient data, carry out medical orders, and perform therapeutic procedures in an age and population-appropriate manner, consistent with facility policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients as directed by the RN
• Gather and report patient data
• Carry out physician orders
• Perform therapeutic procedures on patients
• Work in a fast-paced environment
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested

Schedule

• PRN (as needed) nights
• Flexible scheduling available

Required Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in the state where the facility is located
• Current BLS certification
• IV certification

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience
• Prior experience in emergency or critical care environments
• Comfort level working with ventilators, tracheostomies, PICC lines, and similar equipment
• Two years of experience in direct patient care
