Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) PRN Days

Red Cliffs Health and Rehab is a skilled nursing facility in St. George, UT, seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our nursing team on a PRN basis. This position provides direct nursing care to geriatric residents who require 24/7 skilled nursing services in a long-term care and rehabilitation setting.

Schedule

• PRN position with flexible availability
• 12-hour shifts available (6 AM to 6 PM) or partial shifts
• Availability and scheduling needs will be discussed during the interview

Responsibilities

• Order medications, equipment, and supplies as prescribed
• Prepare and administer treatments and medications as ordered by the physician
• Notify the resident's physician and/or family members of any changes in resident condition
• Administer professional nursing services including tube feedings, suction, catheterization, dressing changes, packs, and irrigations as necessary
• Continuously observe and monitor seriously ill residents
• Serve as a patient advocate, ensuring other healthcare team members provide care according to the resident's care plan and personal wishes
• Complete accurate and timely charting as required

Required Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing
• Effective communication skills
• Willingness to learn local, state, and federal laws and regulations regarding long-term care
