CorrectHealth is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) on a PRN basis to join our team in Dawsonville, GA. In this role, you will participate in clinical patient care within a correctional healthcare setting, working alongside the healthcare team and law enforcement.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical patient care under the supervision of an RN, HSA, Mid Level Provider, Physician, or administrative supervision of the HSC
  • Participate as a member of the interdisciplinary healthcare team
  • Respond to patient needs within the correctional environment
  • Maintain standards and ethics of nursing in accordance with applicable State Board of Nursing and accrediting agencies

Clinical Setting

This position is based in a correctional healthcare environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate from a national or state approved school of nursing program
  • Current, active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of employment
  • American Heart Association BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Corrections experience
