Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide safe, competent resident care in a full-time position. You will deliver direct patient care, administer medications and treatments, and collaborate with the nursing team to ensure quality outcomes across the continuum of care.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe resident care, demonstrating knowledge and competency in completing assigned treatments and procedures according to established standards and policies
• Maintain awareness of new updates and standards, incorporating them into nursing practice
• Participate in the improvement process of quality resident care
• Incorporate age-specific needs into provision of care, procedures, and treatments
• Communicate pertinent resident information and plan of care before breaks, during transfer, and at shift report
• Accurately administer medications according to the five rights of medication administration and document accordingly
• Accurately perform treatments utilizing sterile or clean technique
• Accurately administer external feedings
• Complete resident care-related activities within scheduled shift time periods
• Cooperate with reassignments made in the interest of resident care
• Report resident care problems and possible solutions to appropriate nursing management personnel

Required Qualifications

• Active LPN license
• Minimum one year of nursing experience

Schedule

• Full-time position
• Shift hours available: 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, and 10pm-6am
• Evening and night shift differentials apply

Compensation

• Starting rate: $31.25 per hour up to $32.75 per hour based on years of experience
• Differential pay for evening and night shifts: $34.38 per hour
