*Licensed Practical Nurse LPN - Observation

Resurrection Medical Center is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct and indirect patient care in the Observation Unit. Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain patient safety, provide comfort, and enhance the overall patient experience in this fast-paced clinical setting.

Clinical Setting

You will work in the Observation Unit at Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, IL, caring for patients requiring observation-level care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care services within the scope of LPN practice
• Collaborate with the healthcare team under RN supervision
• Maintain patient safety and comfort
• Contribute to improving the overall patient experience

Schedule

• Full-time position
• 12-hour day shifts
• Alternating weekends required

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license
• Current BLS certification at time of hire, with ongoing maintenance required
• IV certification and Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification required within 90 days of hire date

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior work experience in healthcare

Compensation and Benefits

Resurrection Medical Center offers competitive compensation with an estimated range of $31.00 to $40.00 per hour. Exact starting compensation will be determined based on factors including skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.

A sign-on bonus of $7,500 is available for qualified candidates. Eligibility and payout terms will be discussed during the interview process.
