Fort Gibson Care and Rehab is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for night shift work in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting serving senior residents. This position is part of a small team environment supported by a network of skilled nursing centers across two states.
Schedule
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care that exceeds company and regulatory standards
- Initiate and lead individualized nursing care plans
- Assess and document resident conditions and nursing needs
- Implement physicians' orders accurately and promptly
- Assign nursing care to team members based on resident needs and staff qualifications
- Administer medications
- Start IVs and perform treatments for assigned residents
- Document all treatments as required
- Ensure supplies are used economically and equipment is maintained safely
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited LPN or RN School of Nursing
- Valid LPN or RN license for the state of Oklahoma
- Valid CPR certification
- Ability to work cooperatively as a team member
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, family members, and all organizational levels
- Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Knowledge of training techniques for clinical staff

- One year of nursing experience
