Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Night Shift!

Fort Gibson Care and Rehab is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for night shift work in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting serving senior residents. This position is part of a small team environment supported by a network of skilled nursing centers across two states.

Schedule

• Night shift: 7pm to 7am

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care that exceeds company and regulatory standards
• Initiate and lead individualized nursing care plans
• Assess and document resident conditions and nursing needs
• Implement physicians' orders accurately and promptly
• Assign nursing care to team members based on resident needs and staff qualifications
• Administer medications
• Start IVs and perform treatments for assigned residents
• Document all treatments as required
• Ensure supplies are used economically and equipment is maintained safely
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LPN or RN School of Nursing
• Valid LPN or RN license for the state of Oklahoma
• Valid CPR certification
• Ability to work cooperatively as a team member
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, family members, and all organizational levels
• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Knowledge of training techniques for clinical staff
• Working email address and phone number for employer communication

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of nursing experience
