As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with New Perspective Senior Living, you will plan, monitor, and deliver nursing care to residents in a senior living community. You will oversee nursing care procedures and services provided by other team members, and serve as a clinical resource in the absence of the Director of Wellness and RN, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and quality care standards.
Clinical Setting
New Perspective Senior Living is a growing senior care organization currently serving over 4,000 seniors with plans to expand to 10,000. You will work in a community-based senior living environment focused on resident wellness and quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Execute daily, weekly, and monthly task lists
- Perform all LPN duties as required by state regulations
- Monitor and train caregivers on clinical issues within the community
- Assist with caregiver onboarding
- Coach team members to ensure performance expectations and clinical measures are met
- Conduct retention activities to maintain adequate levels of engaged team members
- Communicate and interact with residents, families, and team members in a kind, respectful, and effective manner
- Champion hospitality and deliver excellent customer service to residents, families, visitors, and vendors
- Attend and participate in team meetings, including Town Hall and departmental meetings
Required Qualifications
- Current and unencumbered LPN license
- Strong computer skills and ability to interact with a variety of electronic devices
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing in English
