Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), McClure, PA

Beacon Light Adult Residential is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the Community Stabilization and Reintegration Unit (CSRU) in McClure, PA. In this role, you will work collaboratively with the treatment team and Director of Nursing to deliver nursing and medical care to adults with complex medical needs, many of whom experience mental illness and/or developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly assessments of residents
• Administer medications and monitor vital signs
• Coordinate medical appointments and follow-up care
• Consult with physicians and psychiatrists regarding overall medical care
• Support individuals in participating in comprehensive treatment plans
• Work as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team

Clinical Setting

You will work in an adult residential facility serving individuals with complex medical and behavioral health needs.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
• Current Pennsylvania LPN licensure
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Working knowledge of the mental health system

Schedule

• Full-time position (40 hours per week)
• Location: McClure, PA

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly rate: $38.38 - $41.24
• Retention bonus: $100 after 90 days for successful completion of probation; $250 after 6 months for completion of all training requirements and meeting position expectations; additional service milestone bonuses beginning at 1 year
