Licensed Practical Nurse (Lpn) - Local

This is a 9-week local contract position for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in St. Albans, Vermont. You will provide safe, compassionate, and patient-centered nursing care as part of a supportive healthcare team while maintaining a schedule close to home.

Schedule

• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift: Days, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• Shift Length: 8 hours
• Start Date: As soon as possible

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and patient-centered nursing care
• Administer medications and treatments within the LPN scope of practice
• Monitor patients' conditions and report changes promptly
• Perform nursing assessments and maintain accurate documentation
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and mobility needs
• Perform wound care, treatments, and other nursing procedures as assigned
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, CNAs, and other healthcare professionals
• Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatments, and care plans
• Follow infection-control procedures and patient-safety standards
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for patients

Required Qualifications

• Active LPN license eligible to practice in Vermont
• Current BLS certification as required by the facility
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Ability to work 40 hours per week throughout the assignment
• Dependable and adaptable
