Licensed Practical Nurse – LPN – Jansen Hospice and Palliative Care-Part-Time-Weekends

Join Jansen Hospice and Palliative Care at NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester as a Licensed Practical Nurse providing compassionate end-of-life care to patients and families in Westchester and Bronx County. This part-time weekend position offers the opportunity to work with an interdisciplinary team of physicians, chaplains, social workers, and rehabilitation specialists delivering quality hospice care in patients' homes, skilled nursing facilities, and hospitals.

Clinical Setting

Jansen Hospice and Palliative Care operates as part of NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester's Hospice Department. The interdisciplinary team includes a Medical Director, chaplain, nurses, social workers, occupational and physical therapists, and a speech language pathologist working collaboratively to support patients and families at the end of life.

Schedule

• Part-time weekend position
• Day shift (United States of America)
• Based in Bronxville, New York
• On-site presence required; all employees should live within a commutable distance to NewYork-Presbyterian

Required Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program
• Current licensure and registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse in New York State
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle for work-related travel

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of experience as an LPN in homecare or hospice (desired but not required)
• Bilingual capability
• Ability to work as a committed member of an interdisciplinary hospice team

Compensation

• Hourly rate: $38.50–$46.20
