Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Inpatient Rehabilitation

Join the Inpatient Rehabilitation Department at National Park Medical Center in Hot Springs, Arkansas as a Licensed Practical Nurse. You will provide compassionate care to patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery, working alongside a dedicated interdisciplinary rehabilitation team. In this role, you will carry out individualized care plans, administer treatments and medications, monitor patient progress, and promote patient comfort and safety as patients regain strength, mobility, and independence.

Schedule

• Full-time, Night shift

Responsibilities

• Contribute to patient assessment by collecting data for analysis by an RN
• Perform plan of care interventions, including specimen collection and wound care; may administer medication
• Document patient care provided
• Assist RN with development of plan of care
• Assist patients with daily living activities including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation
• Monitor, document, and communicate patient status and responses to interventions with RN, physician, patient, and family
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient
• Participate in performance improvement and continuing education
• Provide quality patient care and work flexible shifts and units as needed
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Current state LPN license
• Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of experience

Additional Certifications

• ACLS certification required within 90 days of hire
• PALS certification required within 90 days of hire
