Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Shamokin

Mountain View Rehabilitation and Senior Living Center is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct patient care in our senior living community. You will work under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians to deliver compassionate care to our residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care according to the therapeutic plan of care developed by the supervising registered nurse and physician's orders
• Administer prescribed medications in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act in the State of New Jersey and physician's orders
• Record nurses' notes and other required documentation in the patient's chart based on observation
• Revise patient care plans as directed by the supervising nurse
• Reinforce teaching and instructions given to patients and caregivers by the physician and supervising nurse
• Complete required procedures utilizing universal precautions and required safety measures
