We are hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide skilled nursing care in a long-term care setting in Geneva, New York. This is a 15-week contract position with a contract-to-perm option, working full-time days and/or evenings on a 5x8 schedule. You will work with adult and geriatric patients, delivering direct and indirect care under RN supervision while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct and indirect skilled nursing care under RN supervision
  • Assess residents' physical and psychosocial status and report findings
  • Assist in developing and updating individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and families
  • Maintain clinical competency and participate in ongoing education
  • Ensure safe care practices, including infection control compliance

Schedule

  • 40 hours per week
  • Full-time days and/or evenings (5x8 shifts)
  • Every other weekend and holiday required
  • Must be able to start on a Tuesday or Thursday for full-shift orientation

Required Qualifications

  • Active New York LPN license
  • BLS certification (AHA or RQI)
  • Minimum 1 year of LPN experience
  • Experience with adult and geriatric patients

Compensation

  • Local weekly rate: $1,900
  • Travel package rate: $2,215
  • Per diem rates follow GSA Guidelines for New York
