Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

We are hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for part-time positions in a residential care setting. New graduates are welcome to apply. This role focuses on providing safe, competent resident care while maintaining current knowledge of clinical standards and incorporating them into daily nursing practice.

Schedule

• Part-time and full-time positions available
• 2pm - 10pm shifts

Responsibilities

• Provide safe resident care, demonstrating knowledge and competency in completing assigned treatments and procedures according to established standards and policies
• Maintain awareness of new clinical updates and standards, incorporating them into nursing practice throughout the continuum of care
• Participate in quality improvement processes for resident care
• Incorporate age-specific needs into provision of care, procedures, and treatments
• Communicate pertinent resident information and plan of care before breaks, during transfers, and at shift report
• Accurately administer medications according to the five rights of medication administration and document accordingly
• Accurately perform treatments utilizing sterile or clean technique
• Accurately administer external feedings
• Complete resident care-related activities within scheduled shift time periods
• Cooperate with reassignments made in the interest of resident care
• Report resident care problems and possible solutions to appropriate nursing management personnel
• Delegate resident care tasks appropriately

Required Qualifications

• Active LPN license
• Minimum one year of nursing experience

Compensation

• Starting rate: $29/hour up to $32.50/hour based on years of experience
• Evening differential: $33.40/hour
• Night differential: $32.80/hour
