LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN) FULL TIME NIGHTS

AMG Physical Rehabilitation Hospital – Lafayette is seeking full-time Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for night shifts. This is a state-of-the-art, 32-bed specialty hospital providing inpatient rehabilitation services in Lafayette, Louisiana. You will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, delivering direct and indirect patient care in a dynamic rehabilitation setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care services addressing psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care
• Meet communication needs of patients and families
• Maintain compliance with regulatory agency requirements, nursing and hospital policies, procedures, and standards
• Communicate with physicians and team members about changes in patient clinical condition, including diagnostic study results and symptomatology
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment
• Perform general nursing duties across all departments with adequate supervision

Clinical Setting

AMG Physical Rehabilitation Hospital – Lafayette is a free-standing specialty hospital accepting Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance. The facility is newly constructed and state-of-the-art, located in the heart of Lafayette off Kaliste Saloom Road.

Schedule

• Full-time night shifts
• Shift differentials are paid for all night and weekend shifts

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program
• Current Louisiana LPN licensure
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum of six months to one year of work experience
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
