LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN) FULL TIME DAYS

AMG Physical Rehabilitation Hospital – Lafayette is seeking full-time Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for day shifts. This state-of-the-art, 32-bed specialty hospital provides inpatient rehabilitation services and accepts Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance. You will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, providing direct and indirect patient care in a dynamic rehabilitation setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care services that meet the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care
• Meet the communication needs of patients and families
• Communicate with physicians and team members about changes in patient clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment
• Maintain regulatory agency requirements, nursing and hospital policies, procedures, and standards
• Perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision

AMG Physical Rehabilitation Hospital – Lafayette is located in the heart of Lafayette, Louisiana, off Kaliste Saloom Road, just minutes away from Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. The facility is newly constructed with state-of-the-art equipment and technology.

Schedule

• Full-time position
• Day shifts
• Shift differentials are paid for all weekend shifts

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program
• Current Louisiana LPN licensure
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum of six months to one year of work experience
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
