Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Full-Time Days

CorrectHealth is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time 12-hour day shift position in Columbus, GA. This role is based in a correctional healthcare setting where you will provide clinical patient care as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team that includes law enforcement personnel.

Responsibilities

• Participate in clinical aspects of patient care with healthcare team members and law enforcement
• Perform nursing duties under the supervision of an RN, Health Services Administrator, Mid-Level Provider, Physician, or Health Services Coordinator
• Provide quality care and respond to patient needs within the correctional environment
• Maintain standards and ethics of nursing in accordance with applicable State Board of Nursing and accrediting agencies

Required Qualifications

• Graduate from a national or state-approved school of nursing program
• Current, active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of employment
• American Heart Association BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Corrections experience
