Eventide Sheyenne Crossings Care Center in West Fargo, ND is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work full-time as a Medication and Treatment Nurse in a long-term care setting. This position provides direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration, treatment delivery, and comprehensive health assessments.
Schedule
- Full-time position, 12-hour day shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM
- Every third weekend and holiday rotation
- 72 hours per pay period
- $2 per hour weekend shift differential
Responsibilities
- Assess residents' health status through physical assessments, observations, and interviews on a continuing basis
- Administer medications and treatments, monitoring for effectiveness
- Observe and follow residents' plans of care, updating and making appropriate changes as necessary
- Provide direct nursing care to residents according to established nursing policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records
- Report resident needs, problems, and observations to the Charge Nurse and attending physician
- Provide information, education, and support to residents and families
- Communicate resident needs to care staff as appropriate
- Interact with physicians and other healthcare facilities as needed
- Assist in orientation and training of new team members
- Monitor activities and functions of subordinate staff
- Ensure work responsibilities of subordinate staff are completed thoroughly and accurately
- Coordinate and participate in resident care conferences
- Promptly report any incidents or evidence of abuse, neglect, or violation of residents' rights
- Manage electronic timecard on a daily basis
- Comply with federal, state, and local regulations set forth by the Minnesota or North Dakota Department of Health and Center for Medicare/Medicaid Services
- Attend in-services, continuing education programs, and staff meetings to update nursing skills and knowledge
- Perform additional tasks as needed to support quality resident care
Required Qualifications
- Active North Dakota LPN or RN license, or ability to obtain upon hire

Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive hourly rate of $29.00 to $32.48 based on qualifications, experience, and location
