Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) FT Nights | PAM Health New Albany

PAM Health is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for full-time night shifts at our New Albany location. In this role, you will provide appropriate nursing care under the direction of an RN on the nursing unit. You will gather and report patient data, carry out medical orders, and perform therapeutic procedures in an age and population-appropriate manner, consistent with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients on the assigned unit
• Gather and report patient data to the RN and healthcare team
• Carry out physician orders and nursing interventions
• Perform therapeutic procedures on patients
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested

Schedule

• Full-time, night shift position

Required Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in the state where the facility resides, or compact licensure if applicable
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA); must be obtained within 90 days of employment if not current at hire
• Current IV certification within 90 days of employment, if required by state regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience
