LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN) FT NIGHTS

AMG Specialty Hospital - Northwest Indiana is seeking a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the night shift. This Long-Term Acute Care hospital specializes in managing complex medical needs and serves patients requiring aggressive clinical and therapeutic interventions. You will provide direct and indirect patient care services under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, working within a high staff-to-patient ratio environment designed to ensure individualized attention.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care services that meet the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care
• Meet the communication needs of patients and families
• Communicate with physicians and team members about changes in patient clinical condition, including diagnostic study results and symptomatology
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment
• Perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision
• Maintain regulatory agency requirements, nursing and hospital policies, procedures, and standards

Schedule

• Full-Time Night Shift position
• Shift differentials are paid for night and weekend shifts

Required Qualifications

• Current LPN licensure in the state of employment
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of six months to one year of work experience
