Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN (FT Night (84862)

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients at Idaho State Correctional Institution in Kuna, Idaho. The LPN will work primarily in the Reception Diagnostic Unit, responding to a range of physical and mental health needs under the direction of Registered Nurses, medical, and psychiatric staff.

Schedule

• 3 twelve-hour night shifts per week
• Full-time position

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice for incarcerated patients
• Work under the direction of Registered Nurses, medical, and psychiatric staff
• Respond to physical and mental health needs of patients in the Reception Diagnostic Unit

Required Qualifications

• Active Idaho Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one
• Current and appropriate Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, including drug screen and criminal background check
• Corrections experience is not required

Compensation

• Pay rate: $30-$37.50 per hour, depending on years of experience
