Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - FT-Float Pool

Proactive MD is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support clinical and clerical operations at our workplace health and wellness center. In this full-time float pool position, you will work under the direction of providers to assist with patient care, clinical procedures, and administrative tasks in a direct primary care setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for provider visits through triage, assessment, treatment procedures, and follow-up information
• Perform clinical tests including laboratory work, EKGs, spirometry, inhalation treatments, annual physicals, visual screening, audiometry testing, and CLIA waived testing
• Prepare medications and administer injections as ordered by the provider
• Assist providers with procedures and treatments as needed
• Monitor expiration dates on drugs, vaccines, and other products; dispose of expired items per company guidelines
• Manage health center inventory and supply management
• Maintain professional image and excellent customer relations with patients, visitors, providers, and coworkers
• Assist the Patient Advocate with employee engagement and outreach as needed

Required Qualifications

• Current state LPN license in good standing
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum one year of clinical experience as an LPN
• Strong organization and communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively and maintain working relationships with people from diverse backgrounds
• Knowledge of HIPAA confidentiality requirements
• Frequent travel
