Licensed Practical Nurse LPN - FT Evenings

FutureCare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time evening position in one of our nursing facilities. As an LPN, you will serve as a frontline member of our nursing team, providing direct care and support to our residents under the supervision of the Registered Nurse. Responsibilities

• Assist in care planning and treatments for residents under the direct supervision of the RN
• Consult with other nursing staff as appropriate, applying knowledge and resources to resident care
• Demonstrate basic knowledge and skills required to care for the resident population on your assigned unit
• Review resident medical records to ensure nursing practice provided is within State and Federal guidelines
• Document care provided and report changes in resident status to the shift supervisor
• Review all referrals for consultation, treatment, or resolution of problems to ensure they are valid and applicable to documented nursing plans
• Seek opportunities for professional growth and expansion of responsibilities to maintain competency levels
• Set and implement goals and policies consistent with FutureCare's nursing facility philosophy and purpose

Required Qualifications

• Active LPN license issued in the state of Maryland
• Current CPR license
• Ability to demonstrate effective interpersonal communication with all personnel, residents, and families

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of nursing experience
• Previous experience caring for residents in an acute or long-term health care facility

Schedule

• Full-time, evening shift
