Job Description

AMG Specialty Hospital - Central Indiana Hancock Campus is hiring a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse for day shifts. This newly constructed hospital unit specializes in the management of complex medical needs and serves patients requiring post-acute care. You will provide direct and indirect patient care services under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, working as part of a multidisciplinary team committed to returning patients to their optimal level of well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct and indirect patient care services that meet the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care
  • Meet the communication needs of patients and families
  • Maintain regulatory agency requirements, nursing and hospital policies, procedures, and standards
  • Communicate with physicians and team members about changes in patient's clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology
  • Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment
  • Perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision

Clinical Setting

AMG Specialty Hospital - Central Indiana Hancock Campus is located in Greenfield, Indiana on the newly constructed 2nd floor of Hancock Regional Hospital. The facility is part of the AMG Integrated Healthcare Management Hospital System, a top-5 post-acute care hospital system. The hospital maintains a high staff-to-patient ratio to ensure individualized attention.

Schedule

  • Full-time position
  • Day shifts
  • Shift differentials are paid for all weekend shifts

Required Qualifications

  • Active Indiana LPN licensure
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current ACLS certification (company paid; must be obtained within 90 days of employment)
  • Basic computer knowledge

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of six months to one year of related work experience
