Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Family Practice on the Ridge

Wythe County Community Hospital is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our Family Practice clinic on a full-time day shift schedule, including weekends. In this role, you will provide direct patient care in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Wythe County Community Hospital is a 100-bed acute care facility serving the Wythe County community for over 53 years. The hospital holds Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval, Leapfrog Safety Grade A, and is recognized as a National Quality Leader by LifePoint Health.

Schedule

• Full-time day shift
• Weekends required

Required Qualifications

• Active Virginia LPN license (single-state or compact license)
• If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence before employment begins
• Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding
• Knowledge of CPT codes
• Understanding of insurance benefits
• Healthcare background

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly Range: $20.56 - $27.75
