Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Family Medicine

FryeCare Hickory Family Practice Associates is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Family Medicine clinic in Hickory, NC. This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing direct patient care in a collaborative, patient-focused primary care environment.

Clinical Setting

You will work as part of a team of five dedicated providers at one of the largest and fastest-growing practices within FryeCare Physicians Network. The clinic is committed to delivering exceptional primary care while fostering strong teamwork, professional growth, and meaningful patient relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to patients under the supervision and delegation of a registered nurse, in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice
• Contribute to patient assessment by collecting data for analysis by an RN
• Document patient care provided
• Support providers with overall clinic needs

Required Qualifications

• Current, active North Carolina LPN license (single-state or compact)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in Family Medicine or Pediatric Care
• Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to work effectively in a stressful environment and take appropriate action

Licenses and Certifications

• Active North Carolina LPN license required before employment begins. If relocating, licensure must be updated to your new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire

Schedule

• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
