Fairmont Crossing Health & Rehab Center, a top-rated long-term care and skilled nursing facility in Amherst, VA, is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses to join our clinical team. You will provide compassionate nursing care to seniors in a supportive, team-oriented environment with optimal staff-to-patient ratios.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion
- Provide nursing care to ensure resident needs are met in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, center policies and procedures, and state, federal and local guidelines
- Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary teams
- Support residents' physical, emotional, and psychological well-being
- Assist with resident comfort
- Collect samples and monitor catheters
- Provide wound care
- Collect, track, maintain, and review patient medical history, charts, and physical condition, including heart rate, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration
- Keep resident patient information confidential and adhere to all policies, procedures, federal, state, and local requirements, and professional standards
- Help coach staff as necessary
Required Qualifications
- Current LPN license in Virginia
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Positive attitude, reliability, and strong clinical judgment
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous long-term care or skilled nursing facility experience

Schedule and Shifts
- Full-time, part-time, and per diem positions available
- Shifts: 7:00 am-7:00 pm or 7:00 pm-7:00 am
- Predictable scheduling with flexibility options
Compensation and Bonuses
- Hourly rate: $31.00 to $35.45 per hour, plus shift differentials as applicable
- Sign-on bonus: $10,000 for full-time positions or $5,000 for part-time positions (limited time)
