Glendive Medical Center is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Long-Term Care team. In this role, you will provide direct nursing care to residents, support their health and well-being, and work closely with providers, residents, families, and fellow caregivers to deliver high-quality care.
Clinical Setting
Glendive Medical Center is a Critical Access Hospital serving Eastern Montana and Western North Dakota. You will work in our Long-Term Care unit providing care to residents in an extended care setting.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and care plans
- Monitor resident conditions and report changes to the appropriate healthcare team members
- Perform nursing procedures, including wound care, catheter care, tube feedings, and other treatments within scope of practice
- Assess resident needs and contribute to care planning and ongoing evaluations
- Document resident care and clinical observations accurately and timely
- Respond to resident requests and provide compassionate support
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate resident care
- Supervise and provide guidance to CNAs and other direct care staff
- Ensure compliance with nursing standards, facility policies, and safety regulations
Required Qualifications
- Current Montana LPN License or Compact LPN license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Schedule
- Full-time position
- Three 12-hour shifts per week
- Weekend and holiday rotation required
Compensation and Benefits
Starting wage is $26.14 per hour or higher based on experience and internal equity, plus applicable differentials. The facility offers recruitment incentives including sign-on bonuses, relocation assistance, retention bonuses, and tuition reimbursement.
