Licensed Practical Nurse ( LPN ) – Evening Shift

Glen Haven Health & Rehabilitation is hiring a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse for the evening shift (3:00 PM–11:00 PM) in Northport, Alabama. You will provide direct nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and long-term care setting under new leadership focused on teamwork and quality care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and long-term care setting
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions according to physician orders
• Assess, monitor, and document resident conditions
• Recognize changes in condition and communicate clinical concerns promptly
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic nursing documentation
• Collaborate with Registered Nurses, physicians, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team
• Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants to ensure quality resident care
• Communicate effectively with residents and families regarding care needs
• Promote resident safety, comfort, dignity, and quality of life
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

• Current Alabama Licensed Practical Nurse license in good standing
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with the nursing team
• Dependable and committed to providing exceptional resident care

Preferred Qualifications

• Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, post-acute care, or geriatric nursing experience

Schedule

• Full-time, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM evening shift
• Evening shift differentials available

• Base pay: $25.00–$29.55 per hour (based on experience)
