Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) -Evening & NightsShift

We are hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for full-time evening and night shift positions. New graduates are welcome to apply. This role is based in a residential care setting where you will provide direct patient care, administer medications, perform treatments, and support the health and safety of residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe resident care, demonstrating knowledge and competency in completing assigned treatments and procedures according to established standards and policies
• Stay current with new updates and standards, incorporating them into nursing practice throughout the continuum of care
• Participate in quality improvement processes for resident care
• Incorporate age-specific needs into provision of care, procedures, and treatments
• Communicate pertinent resident information and plan of care before breaks, during transfers, and at shift report
• Accurately administer medications according to the five rights of medication administration and document accordingly
• Accurately perform treatments utilizing sterile or clean technique
• Accurately administer external feedings
• Complete resident care-related activities within scheduled shift time periods
• Cooperate with reassignments made in the interest of resident care
• Report resident care problems and possible solutions to appropriate nursing management personnel

Schedule

• Evening and night shifts
• Full-time position

Compensation

• Starting rate: $30.50/hr to $32.50/hr based on years of experience
• Evening and night shift differential: $32.85/hr

Required Qualifications

• Active LPN license
• One year of nursing experience (new graduates welcome to apply)

Working Environment

• Work involves routine and anticipated exposure to blood, body fluids, and tissue (OSHA Category I)
• May require use of safety equipment such as HEPA mask for infection prevention
• Single work location
