Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide safe, competent resident care on our night shift. This full-time position is based in a residential care setting where you will deliver direct patient care, administer medications, perform treatments, and coordinate with the nursing team to ensure quality outcomes.

Schedule

• Night shifts: 7 pm to 7 am
• Full-time position
• One work location

Responsibilities

• Provide safe resident care, demonstrating knowledge and competency in completing assigned treatments and procedures according to established standards and policies
• Maintain awareness of new updates and standards, incorporating them into nursing practice throughout the continuum of care
• Participate in the improvement process of quality resident care
• Incorporate age-specific needs into provision of care, procedures, and treatments
• Communicate pertinent resident information and plan of care before breaks, during transfer, and at shift report
• Accurately administer medications according to the five rights of medication administration and document accordingly
• Accurately perform treatments utilizing sterile or clean technique
• Accurately administer external feedings
• Complete resident care-related activities within scheduled shift time periods
• Cooperate with reassignments made in the interest of resident care
• Report resident care problems and possible solutions to appropriate nursing management personnel
• Delegate resident care problems and possible solutions to appropriate nursing management personnel

Required Qualifications

• Active LPN license
• Minimum one year of nursing experience

Compensation

• Starting rate: $29.58 per hour up to $33.15 per hour based on years of experience
• Night shift differential: $33.90 per hour
