Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Eddyville KY

This position offers Licensed Practical Nurses the opportunity to provide professional nursing care in a correctional healthcare setting in Eddyville, Kentucky. You will work with a patient population in a secure facility environment, performing clinical assessments, developing care plans, administering medications and treatments, and maintaining accurate patient records as part of a collaborative healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients in the correctional healthcare setting
• Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by providers
• Coordinate and oversee daily nursing activities and patient care needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care
• Support a safe, secure, and compassionate environment for patients

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts available for both days and nights
• 36 hours per week
• Must be able to work every other weekend

Employment Type

• 13-week contract
• Local and travel positions accepted

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
• Active, unencumbered RN license in Wisconsin
• Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience
• Willingness to work in a correctional facility environment
• Ability to work every other weekend

Licenses and Certifications

• AHA BLS/CPR certification required

Compensation and Benefits

• Up to $1,300.00 gross weekly
• Benefits available from day 1
