Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Earn PREMIUM pay

Grant Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct patient care in a long-term care setting. This is a full-time position offering premium pay with flexible scheduling and daily pay options.

Clinical Setting

This role serves a wide variety of medical patients, including pre- and post-surgery patients in a long-term care facility.

Responsibilities

• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
• Prepare and administer medications orally, subcutaneously, and through IV routes; record administration and report adverse reactions in accordance with facility policy
• Educate patients on surgical procedures
• Record patient medical information and vital signs
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients; interpret and record electronic displays
• Initiate corrective action when patients display adverse symptomatology
• Provide bedside care for medical patients, including pre- and post-surgery patients
• Change dressings and insert catheters
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during patient examination and treatment
• Respond to life-saving situations based on nursing standards and protocol
• Participate in discharge planning
• Utilize effective time management skills
• Record all care information concisely, accurately, and completely in a timely manner using appropriate formats and documentation systems
• Perform other position-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Current LPN license in the state
• Up-to-date First Aid certification
• Up-to-date CPR certification

Preferred Qualifications

• At least one year of LPN experience in a long-term care setting
• Knowledge of MatrixCare
