Licensed Practical Nurse LPN

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide nursing care to pediatric patients in an outpatient healthcare setting in Woodbury, MN. You will support patients and their families, perform routine clinical procedures, monitor vital signs, and collaborate with the healthcare team to promote safe, high-quality, family-centered care.

Clinical Setting

This is a per diem position in an outpatient pediatric healthcare facility serving patients from infants through young adults.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to pediatric patients across all age groups from infants through young adults
• Obtain patient information, measure vital signs, and document findings accurately
• Assist with cast removal and other minor outpatient procedures within the scope of practice
• Monitor patients and report changes in their conditions to the appropriate healthcare professional
• Support patients and families throughout appointments and treatments
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other members of the multidisciplinary team
• Perform routine clinical and administrative duties as assigned
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow established safety and infection-control procedures

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Current, valid LPN license
• Current BLS certification (must be obtained within three months of employment)
• Strong communication, documentation, and patient-care skills
• Ability to provide family-centered care to pediatric patients

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of pediatric experience in a medical facility
• Additional nursing certification

Compensation

• Pay rate: $30 - $35 per hour
