Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Creekwood Nursing & Rehabilitation in Russellville is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct patient care in a long-term care setting. This role offers full-time employment with day shift and night shift options.

Clinical Setting

You will work in a nursing and rehabilitation facility providing bedside care to patients in a long-term care environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care to patients, including personal hygiene maintenance
• Record patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and respiratory rate
• Collect patient health information
• Relay information between patients, registered nurses, and physicians
• Administer oral medications and injections to patients
• Test patients' blood sugar levels
• Insert and care for urinary catheters
• Assist patients with personal hygiene
• Monitor for changes in patients' conditions
• Maintain proper charting, documentation, and medical records
• Ask for clarification from the registered nurse when in doubt
• Act as a role model for ancillary personnel
• Maintain confidentiality of patient clinical records

Required Qualifications

• Current LPN license in the state

Preferred Qualifications

• At least one year of LPN experience in a long-term care setting

Schedule

• Full-time, day shift
• Full-time, night shift
